TERMS AND CONDITIONS

OUR PROCESS

  1. Consultation with the creator of The Velvet Bloom. We are more than happy to sit and chat about your special day to ensure we can meet your requirements.

  2. An initial quote is then created based on the information supplied by the client.

  3. We are happy to take your calls and emails whenever you feel the need. We like to engage and leave no questions unanswered with our clients.

  4. To confirm and secure our services, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required; without this payment, we are unable to guarantee your booking date.

  5. We ask client to sign this terms and conditions agreement to ensure everything is understood.

  6. A pre-wedding chat 6 weeks out from wedding date.  Here we can discuss any changes and additions you may need as well as revisiting the quote if needed.

  7. The balance payment is due in full 14 business days prior to your wedding date.

  8. We will do the rest, so you don’t have to worry.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

  • Your booking is secured and confirmed with The Velvet Bloom once a 30% non-refundable deposit has been made. At this time, we will schedule a pre-wedding chat 6 weeks out from your wedding date.

  • After the pre-wedding chat (6 week prior to date), a balance invoice will be sent for payment. The balance is due 14 days prior to your wedding date. Payment is required by direct bank transfer.

Your non-refundable booking fee can be paid via the direct transfer:  Please reference the quote number issued on the quotation.

FLOWER SUBSTITUTIONS and QUOTATION CHANGES

We work within your chosen colour palette, style and theme and use the freshest seasonal, locally or imported grown flowers available. If you have a specific floral requirement, we will do our best to source it (to be discussed at consultation).

Given the fresh flower industry is dependent on weather, seasonality, and supply and demand, pricing may fluctuate in certain circumstances. We do our best to give you the most accurate quote but we may need to revisit the prices quoted during your pre wedding chat. We will do our best to honour the quote provided, however if we cannot create the same vision as was originally quoted for the budget, we will advise you of any additional costs and give you the option as to how you would like to proceed.

WEDDING CANCELLATIONS

Unfortunately, sometimes weddings may be cancelled. The non-refundable deposit of 30% will be retained if booking is cancelled, however is transferable if postponed or there is a wedding date change, given we have the availability.

 

FLOWER DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

We ask that you provide the correct venue, brides and grooms address well in advance. It will be your responsibility to ensure that we have the contact details of the venue managers to ensure we have ample time to set up.

 

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

The Velvet Bloom reserves the right to photograph all arrangements upon installation for promotional material use.   We ask our clients permission to be able to contact their professional photographer.  We may contact them to ask for photos of flowers provided and created by The Velvet Bloom, and photos of bride and groom.  We also ask your permission to be able use these photos on The Velvet Blooms website and social media platforms.

 

HIRE TERMS

  1. All hire items & terms and conditions will be clearly stated on your quote if required.

  2. Any broken or lost hire items will be charged at the full retail price (RRP). This will be outlined to you in an invoice, in the event of lost or broken items.

  3. Hire items are to be returned by the client within three working days of your wedding, unless otherwise agreed. If not returned within the guideline, the hire items may be charged at the full RRP.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

The Velvet Bloom respects the privacy of you, our client.

  1. We do not sell or lease any personal customer information to any third parties. We only ask your permission to be able to use photographs for our Website and Social Pages.

  2. The Velvet Bloom takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal information.
